She's The He by Siobhan McCarthy

On the last week of school, two inseparable best friends, Alex (Nico Carney) and Ethan (Misha Osherovich), pretend to be trans women and sneak into the girl’s locker room. It’s all a joke until Ethan realizes: she is actually trans. In the aftermath, Alex and Ethan are forced to reckon with their changing friendship, their loyalty to one another, and the complicated process of coming out.

She's The He is a tribute to the iconic, larger-than-life films of the '90s & '00s, but this time, queer characters are front & center. Imagine Superbad, Mean Girls or Clueless—but with LGBTQ+ representation at the heart. This film is meant to defang the harmful rhetoric and show the humanity & joy of being trans.
